Its advantage is that it takes up considerably less space in a trunk than even a temporary spare tire would. In the dashboard information window the one screen on the left. The message is service tire mobility kit and in the right bottom corner it has a box that has ok in it.
I pulled the kit out of the trunk, its still in the factory bag, then put it back. Any thoughts how to make the warning go away or what the issue might be? So day two of 18 mustang 5.0 pp ownership.

🙂 paul just got this at 6 yrs, 3 months and 94,000 miles for the first time i can recall. I honestly had no idea what this warning was until i looked into it further. The kit consists of an air compressor with an attached hose and an integrated bottle of a thick sealant.
I did reset it, and checked the air pressure on my spare, which fits nicely into the well provided. This is ford's attempt to make us feel better about not having a spare tire in.
