I have a 2004 jeep liberty with an intermittent starting problem. If still no click, then it can be the neutral safety switch in the transmission.

The fuse and relay for the starter are located on the driver’s side fenderwell in the electrical component box. If it doesn´t click, then swap this relay with a same one in the fuse/relay box and try again.
