While kaz and charlie have a decent amount of knowledge and some experience with sharks, neither character is superhuman, and the rest of the ensemble are even less qualified. Nobody quite makes low budget cult films the way that australian filmmakers do.

Horror movies coming to shudder november 2021. My guess is that they were aiming at a more grounded approach, and it worked ok until a certain point. Great white is as basic of a killer shark film as possible.
