Simply clearing the code won't help as it will return soon after. Tried the hold 2 buttons and then hold the set.

Advice would greatly be appreciated on my little issue.

Service vehicle soon vz. Display shows service reminder, no items. Screen displayed service reminder xxxxx press and hold set until the beep. The body control module (bcm) detects certain malfunctions in the lighting system.

Have tried to reset by hold the up and down buttons then turn ignition on, wait until you hear the beep(3 secs). Been running fine since nov 08. Reset oil service vz commodore. Make sure though your car does have correct level oil (hopefully you've checked that already).

The service vehicle soon light explained. Vz wagon had service done at 195k. My vz has the service vehicle soon (svs) on the cluster.

It's really sounding like the oil pressure switch is causing the dramas. Service vehicle soon displays for engine faults which aren't emissions related. With ignition ‘off’ press and hold both arrow buttons, turn ignition on.

It comes up with no items but will not reset. Now at 202k and service warning has come on. The car has done 68,000km and was serviced @ 60,000kms.
